To grow in a personal relationship with God, St. Dismas Guild encourages you to participate in The Bread of Life Catholic Bible Study workbook, written by our Founders Deacon Ken and Marie Finn, with written feedback from St. Mother Teresa and her sisters (Missionaries of Charity) and endorsed by St. John Paul II.

This workbook follows the Liturgical Calendar of the Church and helps prepare you for the upcoming Sunday Mass readings. There are 3 Cycles (A, B, and C) which correspond to the cycles of the Church Year. We began Cycle C at the end of November 2021.

Prayer before reading the Bible…

Father, I can’t understand your Word without your grace, I acknowledge my weakness so your power can reach perfection in me. Send your Holy Spirit to remind, teach, and guide me to the Truth. And may I share, as soon as possible, whatever you teach me. Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Also, Marie Finn, our co-founder and co-writer of the Bible Study, is doing a Podcast now on the Bible Study. She answers the questions to the Gospel readings each week and shares the Commentary from her late husband Deacon Ken. If you’d like to check those out for further assistance.
